View from the Inn

Every ship that goes into or out of Vancouver, Victoria or Puget Sound ports goes by the Inn. The annual sailboat races to Swiftsure come by as well. There is a wealth of wild life to watch. Orca whales, Gray whales, sea otters, fresh water otters, seals and sea lions have been spotted feeding or passing through. In October the arctic birds move in for the winter. In late winter the migratory eagles congregate on the beach to eat ling cod eggs.
