King Fisher Charters provides both experienced and inexperienced anglers an excellent opportunity to catch a variety of deep sea fish. The captain, Ken Welever, has thirty five years experience in saltwater fishing. The last twenty five years have been mostly in the Neah Bay area. The Kingfisher, a 27 foot Orca diesel powered cabin cruiser, was new in 2000.   The charters can accommodate six people, but the skipper prefers parties of three or four.  Ken bleeds and keeps the fish in an insulated box with ice as soon as they come on board.  This assures that you take home great tasting fish.  

Fishing gear and bait are included in the rates quoted below.  All rates are plus tax and based on a three person minimum booked for the boat. The minimum number of people do not have to book together, except for Canadian halibut.  We only book one charter per day, and Ken spends the time necessary to assure the best possible chance of getting a full limit for the boat.

• Bottom Fish (cod, bass, rockfish, etc.,) $180 per person. May through August.

• Salmon: $180 per person.  End of June  through August.  Come and experience the abundant Washington salmon fishing opportunities.  

• Combination Salmon and Bottom fish, $200 per person, four person booking maximum. Available July  through August.

• US Halibut: $220 US halibut opens for a short period in May. Canadian Halibut will only be available to a limited number of prior customers and is $220 per person. Canadian halibut will be booked for June only.   Canadian saltwater fishing licenses can now be purchased on line.  Click at the end of this sentence to access the link.....:

• Fish filleted and stored in plastic bag: $10 per person

• A minimum booking of three will reserve the boat for your group, and is offered to the first party which makes a booking for the day.  If they do not book three people, there can be up to six people on the trip.  We try, however, to limit booking of over four people to those who are booking as a single party.

• A maximum of four people can fish at any one time, to reduce tangling of tackle and maximize the success in landing the catch.

• Only those fishing are allowed on board.  We do not accept non-fishing passengers.
