Studio

The Inn has a 20' by 20' studio. The studio is equipped for Scrap Booking (and card making) and for Quilting. There are ten workstation spaces. Each workstation is equipped with an Ott light and an ergonomic chair. There is a 4' by 8' cutting area, a station for ironing or heat embossing, and a 8' by 8' design wall. The overhead lighting is excellent, with full spectrum florescent bulbs in the many fixtures circling the room and over the cutting table. A copy machine and scanner are available in the Inn's office.

Quilting: For quilting we provide Ott light, June Tailor Sew Stations, small cutting mats at each of the 10 workstation (there are an additional 4 fully equipped workstations in the long arm building). We supply rulers, scissors, rotary cutters and cutting mats. We also have 8 Huskystar sewing machines, a Designer 1 sewing machine and a Memory Craft 7000 sewing machine that can be used at no additional charge. All you need to bring is your project, unless you feel more comfortable using your own sewing machine.

We have a small retail shop for thread, machine needles, backing fabric and batting. We are an hour and a half from the nearest fabric store, so we stock those products which may have been forgotten at home.

Scrap Booking and Card Making: We have over 1000 rubber stamps available to our guests. We also have ink pads, embossing powders, tools for installing eyelets, many punches, and a wide range of Sizzix dies and embossing designs. There is no charge to our guests for the use of these. In addition we keep a supply of card stock and papers on hand for purchase.
