Long Arm Building

The Inn has a separate 16' by 24' building housing a AQS Millennium Long Arm quilting machine with a 14' bed. The long arm machine is available to our guests to rent by the hour. The cost is $10.00 if you are not staying at the Inn. You get a 25% discount if you are staying two or more nights. There is also a Tajima 15 needle commercial embroidery machine which can be rented at the same rate. You can supply your own design, in .dst format, or use one of our many existing designs. The rental rate doesn't include the cost of thread.

The long arm building has four large workstation spaces. Each workstation is equipped with a June Tailor Sewing Station and an ergonomic chair. There is a 2' by 5' cutting area, a station for ironing, and a 8' by 15' design wall. The overhead lighting is excellent, with full spectrum florescent bulbs in the many fixtures circling the room . A laptop with EQ5, Blockbase and other quilting software is available for our guests' use. For your entertainment we have a CD and tape player, and the Inn has over 300 music CDs.
